The Odyssey Boat Safari aboard Okeanis is the most extensive and adventurous cruise in our collection, covering a vast stretch of coastline from Larnaca to Protaras. Designed as a full-day sea exploration, this cruise offers an unmatched combination of marine life, natural landscapes, historic landmarks, and multiple swimming experiences.
Departing from Larnaca Marina, the journey begins with one of Cyprus’ most famous underwater attractions — the Zenobia shipwreck. Considered one of the world’s top wreck dives, Zenobia rests in clear waters just offshore. Guests have the opportunity to swim and snorkel above the wreck, observing its impressive structure and watching certified divers explore below.
From there, the cruise continues along the coastline towards Cape Pyla, where dramatic sea caves, red rock cliffs, and bird habitats create striking scenery. A refreshing swimming stop is made in the area, followed by complimentary fresh fruit served on board as the journey continues.
Sailing onward, the route passes a local fish farm, offering a glimpse into the cultivation of sea bream, a traditional Cypriot delicacy. With a bit of luck, dolphins may also be spotted along this stretch of open water. The cruise then follows the famous beaches of Ayia Napa, known for their white sand and turquoise waters.
The adventure continues to Cape Greko, where guests pass the natural Love Bridge, the Pirate Caves, and other dramatic rock formations shaped by the sea over centuries. One of the highlights of the day is a generous swimming stop at the Blue Lagoon, where guests can enjoy crystal-clear waters ideal for swimming and snorkelling.
Midday, a traditional Cypriot buffet with BBQ is served on board, offering a selection of homemade local dishes to enjoy while relaxing at sea. Drinks are available from the onboard bar throughout the cruise.
As the journey progresses eastward, the coastline of Protaras comes into view, followed by views towards Famagusta, where guests are introduced to the history of the Ghost Town, offering insight into one of Cyprus’ most significant modern landmarks.
The Odyssey Boat Safari concludes at the Golden Coast fishing port in Protaras, after which guests are transported back to their original pickup locations by private bus, completing a seamless end-to-end experience.
The Odyssey Boat Safari is more than a cruise — it is a full coastal journey, ideal for guests who want to experience as much of Cyprus by sea as possible in one day. With multiple swimming stops, rich scenery, historical insight, and a relaxed onboard atmosphere, it is the ultimate choice for explorers and sea lovers alike.
