The area of Protaras has two departure points for
passenger vessels. The Golden Coast Harbour (or Saint Nicholas) in the area of Pernera, or the Nissiotis Jetty in the center of Protaras. As each cruise varies, you can find the departure location on the page with all the information.

If you are joining a daily cruise, it is suggested to be at the departure point approximately 30 minutes before the starting time, so that we can check everyone in and settle to your seats. As for the private charters, it is suggested 15’ minutes before the scheduled departure time.

Some of our daily cruises already include a transfer from your accommodation. For the cruises that it is not included, you can drop us an email at info@protarascruises.com and we can arrange it for you.

Items you might need include sun crème (oil-free), sunglasses, a camera, a hat, a towel, and your camera. Snorkel gear and noodle floats are provided on most vessels (check included/excluded) however, you can bring your own. Please remember that anything you decide to bring on board is done at your own risk.
*On cooler days (May & October), a light jacket or a windbreaker is recommended.

All vessels are fully licensed and have all the necessary facilities to make your cruise nice and comfortable. Some of the basics are sunny and shaded areas, life jackets, swimming ladder, food and drinks, WC, etc. You can additionally you can check out each trip’s included/excluded section for all the details.

Some cruises include food and drinks, and most have a bar with a variety of additional snacks and drinks available for purchase at reasonable prices. You can find all the details on each trip’s included/excluded section.

As most of our cruises offer food and drinks and have a fully stocked bar with a variety of additional snacks and drinks available for purchase at reasonable prices, that won’t be necessary.

Though we try our best to have something for each one of our passengers, we would suggest you drop us an email at info@protarascruises.com informing us of your personal preference, and we will ensure to arrange something for you. 

We have had passengers of all ages on our vessels. However, we have some adult inclusive cruises and other cruises that may not be suitable for babies and children under the age of 12. You can check out each trips’ FAQ for all the details.

No, strollers are not allowed on our daily cruises, but our crew will assist and store it securely for you at the office and bring it back to you once the trip is finished. However, if you wish to bring a stroller onboard, you can have a private charter to suit your preferences.

We aim to make all our experiences accessible to all. Our staff will gladly help where necessary but please note that due to the compatibility of the boat, wheelchairs cannot be accommodated onboard.
Please note that boarding is accessible via the jetty where there are steps and a ramp platform.

Absolutely! If you’re enjoying a healthy pregnancy and have been given the green light from your doctor, then you are very welcome to join us on board.

Absolutely! If you have been given the green light from your doctor then you are very welcome to join us on board. However, on our vessel Sirena One and even though our helms are highly experienced, it may get a little bumpy from time to time as we occasionally travel with high speed. It is, for this reason, that we solely leave the decision up to your own risk.

Seasickness is highly unlikely to occur while cruising, as we generally cruise during smooth sea.

All trips are subject to Captains approval of the weather and sea conditions. If the trip is cancelled, we will give you the option to reschedule your cruise another day (according to availability). If that is not possible and you have either paid a deposit or the total amount a full refund will be made.

Yes, you can as our staff can easily sell you a ticket on the day. However, we’d strongly recommend that you try and avoid doing so at busy times as most of our trips are fully booked well in advance. Booking via this website is simple but if preferable, have a look at our contact page if wanting to speak to us directly.

Should we have to cancel your trip due to unusually rough sea conditions, we will gladly reschedule your booking for a later date. If you are only in the area for a short period of time and therefore can’t make it another time, we will happily issue you with a full refund.

Please be aware, however, our cancellations and refund policy states that should you cancel a booking within 48 hours of your scheduled departure, regrettably no refund will be provided.

Yes of course, if for any reason you cannot make it on your cruise, you can cancel your reservation by informing us via email, no later than 48 hours prior to the starting time of the trip.

Tough, we cannot guarantee a dolphin sighting, you never know what you might see on any given day. It may be your lucky day!

We aim to keep everyone nice and dry, however, being on an open boat we may get some sprays from time to time.
